The art of craftsmanship

Many people link creativity to loose schedules and free flowing ideas. When I work on new design I often want to go much more crazy than the budget allows. This is a curse and a blessing. Sometimes it pays off and I get to incorporate features that I dream up. More often I have to reel it back in and be disciplined remaining in the original scope. Decks are one of those spaces where creativity can make a space more attractive than the rest of the home, but at a cost.
